I'm just wondering how many people actually celebrate Christmas because it's suppose to be Jesus birthday. Christmas tree, gifts, santa, all of that has nothing to do with Jesus but people don't seem to care. People even have the nerve to say the true meaning of Christmas is about giving. I guess I'm the only one who has a problem with this. If Christmas is the day Jesus was born, then the true meaning is recognizing that, and we should be thankful. Thanks to the birth and death of Jesus, we can be forgiven for our sins. That means more to me than gifts being under a Christmas tree. I have a 6 year old and he comes home asking me about a tree and santa. They seperate religion from school but teach about and celebrate Christmas. I can't understand that but it is what it is. I teach my son what I feel is important and I hope he grows up with a realistic understanding about things. All this extra stuff is a distraction from what's really important. Read more about Christmas and tell me what you think of the holiday and how you celebrate it.
